The program encourages active employee involvement in safety meetings, hazard assessments, site inspections, and the continuing development of safe work practices and safe job procedures. All employees shall perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices, and they shall minimize the potential for accidents in their work areas. In turn, all management activities will follow company safety requirements with respect to planning, operation, and maintenance of work sites and equipment.
Workers have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment, and they have the right to refuse unsafe work. They are responsible for reporting unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisors.
